Sony has announced that Astro Bot has now sold over 1.5 million units as of November 3, and the PS5 is now sitting at 65.6 million units sold worldwide.

According to the latest financial reports from Sony, which cover the three months ending on September 30, Team Asobi’s latest title has hit a major milestone in just 9 weeks since it was first released. Additionally, it was revealed that 37% of players did not purchase any first-party title in the past two years except for Astro Bot.

In hardware news, the PS5 has now hit a new sales milestone as it has breached the 65.6 million unit mark. 3.8 million units were sold during the time frame covered in the report, which is 1.1 million units lower than the same period from last year.

Additionally, PS Plus monthly active users have now jumped up to 116 million, which is a boost of 9 million from the 107 million monthly active users from the same period last year.

With the holiday season coming in, it would be safe to say that both Astro Bot and the PS5, especially with the release of the PS5 Pro, will see another bump in sales.
