Riot Games has announced that 2XKO, their upcoming 2v2 tag-based fighting game set in the League of Legends Runeterra universe, is starting its closed beta on September 9, 2025.

2XKO Closed Beta Details

The 2XKO Closed Beta will initially be available on Windows PC, followed by PS5 and Xbox Series at a later date. Once the closed beta starts, the game and its servers will be kept online and running through launch.

Players who had access to the earlier alpha and/or public play tests will automatically gain access to the closed beta on PC. Still, interested newcomers can express their interest in joining the beta by signing up at the official website.

The game will fully support cross-platform progression, as well as cross-platform inventory, allowing players to start on PC and then switch over to a preferred console platform once available, with no lapse in progress or inventory.
