SEGA has announced that the demo for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds will be available starting September 17, 2025, giving fans a chance to hit the track ahead of the full game’s release on September 25.

The demo will be free to download on PS5, Xbox Series, and Switch, with PC players getting access a day later on September 18.

What’s in the Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Demo?

The demo offers a generous slice of content for players to dive into:

• 4 Playable Characters: Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy
• 12 Machines and 20 Gadgets
• 8 Courses: Including 3 main tracks and 5 CrossWorlds circuits
• Game Modes: Grand Prix and Time Trial (multiplayer is not included)

Players can experiment with machine customization, tweaking parts, colors, decals, and textures. While Time Trial results and settings won’t carry over, all other progress from the demo will transfer to the full version.

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds will be released on September 25, 2025, for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC.
