20th Century Studios has announced that Predator: Badlands, a new chapter in the iconic Predator franchise, is now showing in cinemas nationwide.

Predator: Badlands – A New Perspective

Set in the future on a deadly remote planet, Predator: Badlands follows Dek, a young Predator outcast from his clan, who forms an unlikely alliance with Thia, a robot severed in half. Together, they embark on a treacherous journey in search of the ultimate adversary.

Directed by Dan Trachtenberg, known for Prey and Predator: Killer of Killers, this marks his third entry in the franchise. What sets Badlands apart is its bold narrative shift, placing the Predator species at the center of the story as protagonists.

Trachtenberg says, “I wanted to give people an experience that focuses on the species and their culture. For the first time, we go to their home planet and see how they exist, but there’s still a great deal of mystery there.”

Cast and Performances

• Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi stars as Dek, the young Predator navigating exile and survival.
