SEGA has announced that NiGHTS from NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams is now available as a free playable racer in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds. Players can take to the track in NiGHTS’ signature machine, the Dream Sleeper, bringing a new character to the crossover racing lineup.

The update also adds five iconic tracks from the NiGHTS series, which can be set as background music via the in‑game Jukebox. Songs include Dreams Dreams, Growing Wings, Message From Nightopia, and more.

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds NiGHTS Festival Event Starts December 26

Alongside the update, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds will host the NiGHTS Festival, a limited‑time collaboration event running from December 26, 2025 (8:00 AM) to December 29, 2025 (7:59 AM UTC+8).

Players can join one of three teams and compete in special challenges, such as performing Touch Boosts or completing unique objectives. By earning Festival Points, racers can unlock exclusive in‑game items like decals, horns, and gadgets. SEGA confirmed that festival rewards will also be obtainable through alternative methods in future updates.
