Sucker Punch has announced that Ghost of Yotei Legends will arrive on PlayStation 5 on March 10, 2026. This free DLC expands the acclaimed Ghost of Yotei with a robust online co-op mode, letting players team up to face supernatural threats inspired by Japanese mythology.

Legends will be included in patch 1.5 and is free for all Ghost of Yotei owners.

Ghost of Yotei Legends Modes and Missions

Players can dive into three mission types at launch:

• Survival Mode – Team up with up to three players to defend territory against waves of enemies. Holding ground grants Blessings, while losing it triggers Curses unique to each map.
• Story Mode – Two-player missions across 12 chapters, culminating in large-scale Incursions against monstrous versions of the Yōtei Six.
• Raid Mode – Arriving in April, this ultimate challenge pits teams against the Dragon and Lord Saito himself.

Ghost of Yotei Legends Classes and Progression

Legends introduces four playable classes, each with unique weapons and abilities:

• Samurai – Master of the ōdachi, versatile across weapon types.
• Archer – Skilled with the yari and additional ranged weapons.
• Mercenary – Dual katana wielder with utility-focused skills.
• Shinobi – Kusarigama specialist with stealth-driven abilities.

Players can earn Legendary gear, cosmetics, and weapons by tackling higher difficulty challenges. A new lobby also offers mini-games like Bamboo Strike and Zeni Hajiki, plus Photo Mode for capturing epic co-op moments.
