SEGA has announced that Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds will receive more free updates featuring crossover characters from iconic franchises.

In April, Red from Angry Birds and Captain Majima from Like a Dragon/Yakuza will join the lineup of playable characters, while Arle from Puyo Puyo makes her racing debut in May.

New Machines Revealed

The newly added characters will each have unique vehicles to storm the track with:

• Red (Angry Birds) – Super Roaster
• Captain Majima (Like a Dragon) – Goromaru
• Arle (Puyo Puyo) – Twinkle Bayoen

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds: Demo Update with Extreme Gear Machines

Starting March 19, 2026, the free demo of Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds will be updated to include Extreme Gear Machines. Players on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and Epic Games can try them out in single-player Grand Prix or Time Trial modes.
