CD Projekt Red has revealed that Cyberpunk 2077 will receive a free PlayStation 5 Pro update starting April 8, 2026.

Cyberpunk 2077 PS5 Pro Performance Enhancements

With the use of PSSR to deliver stunning upscaled visuals and ray-traced lighting and shadows, the PS5 Pro Enhanced version of Cyberpunk 2077 will have three distinct modes to choose from:

• Ray Tracing Pro Mode – Full ray tracing effects, targeting 40 FPS on VRR displays (30 FPS otherwise).
• Performance Mode – Prioritizes speed, reaching up to 90 FPS with VRR while maintaining high image fidelity.
• Ray Tracing Mode – A balanced option with select ray tracing features at a smooth 60 FPS.

The update arrives just as the game remains available in the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium Game Catalog, giving new players the chance to experience the enhanced version at no extra cost.
