Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia has announced that Digimon Story Time Stranger is available now on Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch, alongside PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.

Developed by Media.Vision Inc., the RPG lets players collect, train, and forge bonds with more than 450 Digimon in a journey spanning both the human and digital worlds.

Gameplay and Story

Players take on the role of an ADAMAS agent, tasked with saving both worlds from collapse. Strategic, turn‑based combat emphasizes taming Digimon, evolving abilities, and building bonds. The game offers a visually stunning adventure across time and dimensions, designed as an accessible entry point for RPG fans.

Digimon Story Time Stranger Editions and Season Pass

• Digital Standard Edition: Base game, costume uniform, adventure item set, Agumon (Black), Gabumon (Black).
• Digital Deluxe Edition: Adds Cyber Sleuth costume set, Season Pass, Golden Moai farm item.
• Digital Ultimate Edition: Includes Deluxe content plus costume pack, side missions, early unlocks of special Digimon, Public Safety Suit, supplies set, and Cyber Sleuth BGM pack.

The Season Pass features the Golden Moai farm item and three DLC packs, each with five Digimon and a new story episode. Releases are scheduled weekly: Alternate Dimension (July 16), Gaku‑Ran (July 23), and Anti‑ParadoX (July 30, 2026).

Switch 2 Performance Modes

On Nintendo Switch 2, players can choose between Quality Mode (4K HDR, up to 30FPS docked; Full HD handheld) or Performance Mode (Full HD, up to 60FPS docked and handheld).
