SQUARE ENIX has announced that the KINGDOM HEARTS Collection [I-III] is now available across multiple modern platforms, giving players a convenient way to experience the beloved RPG franchise in one package. The collection launched on October 8, 2026 for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox on PC, while an Epic Games Store release is scheduled for October 9.

This is particularly noteworthy for Asian players, as SQUARE ENIX also confirmed that Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and Korean subtitles will be added to supported versions of the collection in early summer 2027. Physical editions featuring these language options are also planned, with additional details to be shared at a later date.

A Complete KINGDOM HEARTS Experience

The bundle contains three major entries in the franchise:

• KINGDOM HEARTS -HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX-
• KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue
• KINGDOM HEARTS III + Re Mind (DLC)

Players can also purchase the titles individually, although digital versions are the only format available for standalone purchases. The collection itself will be offered in both digital and physical formats.

Asian Language Support Details

The upcoming subtitle update will cover all three included titles. Notably, Simplified Chinese subtitles will be newly added to KINGDOM HEARTS III + Re Mind (DLC).

The rollout will vary by platform:

• Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 5 users will receive the additional subtitles through the Japanese version only.
• Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, and Steam players will be able to select the additional subtitles when launching the Japanese version.
• On Epic Games Store, Asian-language subtitles will be added only to products purchased through Epic Games accounts registered outside Japan.

Save data created in English versions generally cannot be transferred to the localized Japanese versions that will support the new subtitles, though some platform-specific exceptions apply.
