Ubisoft has announced that Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is getting a free playable demo on January 11, 2024.

The demo will give players a first glimpse at the upcoming action-adventure platformer from Ubisoft Montpellier.

A new story trailer has also been released, providing players a sneak peek into the rich narrative, offering glimpses of the challenges, mysteries, and epic encounters that main character Sargon will face on his mythological adventure through Persia.

Inspired by the Metroidvania genre, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown lets players explore a handcrafted world at their own pace. From the majestic Citadel of Knowledge to the colorful landscapes of the Hyrcanian Forest, players will discover a variety of environments inspired by Persian mythology. By acquiring new time powers, unlocking unique abilities and combining them in combat, Sargon will progressively delve deeper into Mount Qaf, solving puzzles, finding secrets, and completing exciting side quests.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is scheduled to release on January 18, 2024, on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC.
