Announced during EA Play Live last month showing a very brief but intense teaser, the Dead Space remake is one title that fans have been wishing for quite a while now. Finally a reality, it seems that we won’t have to wait for too long until the game is released, as the Dead Space remake is apparently targeting a late 2022 release.

Jeff Grubb of VentureBeat reports that Dead Space is set to launch in Fall of 2022, according to sources familiar with the development of the game. While one year sounds like a long time, release dates during the time of the pandemic are in a state of constant flux, so we can expect EA to announce something concrete when they are ready.

At the moment, there has been no official confirmation from EA yet, so the report is to be taken with a grain of salt.

Fans looking forward to more information about the game, Grubb continues to say that EA does have some plans to show off more about the game before this year ends, so hopefully, we’ll see some sort of gameplay trailer by then.

Dead Space is currently in development with an unspecified launch date for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC.
