The long wait for the much anticipated Diablo II: Resurrected is almost over, as the remaster launches on September 23 for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
Diablo II: Resurrected Beta Dates
Before its release, there will be 2 beta phases that players can enjoy this month – Early access on August 13-16 and open beta on August 20-22. PlayStation and Xbox players may enjoy these 2 beta phases starting later this week, but unfortunately, Switch fans will be left out of the beta.
Players who have pre-ordered Diablo II: Resurrected can take part in the early access beta that starts on August 13 at 10 AM Pacific (August 13 at 1 AM Philippines) and will be able to experience new classes such as the Druid and Paladin, along with multiplayer and PVP. Open beta starts on August 20 at 10 AM Pacific (August 21 at 1 AM Philippines).
According to the Blizzard FAQ, a PlayStation Plus subscription is not required for early access or open beta, but is required for multiplayer activities. On the other hand, Xbox Live Gold is required to play early access and open beta, along with the multiplayer features.
Both Act I: The Sightless Eye and Act II: The Secret of the Vizjerei will be fully playable during the Diablo II: Resurrected beta and progress from early access will be carried over to the open beta.
