Marvel’s Midnight Suns, the upcoming strategy game from Firaxis that was initially scheduled to launch in March 2022, will be delayed to a launch window in the second half of next year.

Announced through their various social media channels, Firaxis has shared that the decision to delay the game further into the year was not done lightly but was necessary to make it the “best game possible”, needing time to “add more story, cinematics, and overall polish” to make their vision a reality.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns will be taking the Marvel IP in a new direction from the usual action-adventure titles and will be featuring a card-based system alongside building relationships with other team members and exploring other activities while in the HQ.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns will be available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and Epic Games.
