Capcom unveiled a new trailer for Monster Hunter Rise during The Game Awards 2020 but has also announced that Rise will be getting a demo on January 2021, just before its release for the Nintendo Switch on March 26, 2021.
Monster Hunter Rise brings new mechanics to the game like Wiredash, Wall Run, Wirefall, and Silkbind Attack. Wiredash is a quick forward dash that even lets you move through the air. Wall Run can be performed by executing a Wiredash towards a wall. Wirefall, on the other hand, is an evasive move t hat can be used when you’re pushed or knocked back. Lastly, Silkbind Attack is a special attack using the Wirebug Attack. All 14 weapons have their own unique Silkbind attacks
The new game also has monsters like Somnacanth, Bishaten, Royal Ludroth, and Great Wroggi. These monsters among others will attack the village in a catastrophic event called The Rampage. The villagers have built a Stronghold to prepare for the next invasion.
Monster Hunter Rise demo will be available in January 2021.
