2020 is looking to be a great year for Nintendo. A recent Nintendo direct pointed out a huge number of confirmed titles and updates for this year like Borderlands / Bioshock / XCOM 2 from 2K, Burnout Paradise Remastered, Panzer Dragoon, and Xenoblade Chronicles among others.

If reports are to believed, the first party lineup for the Switch is about to get beefier with a whole slew of Mario games, including Mario Galaxy, Mario 64, and Mario Sunshine.

Gematsu, VGC, and Eurogamer have all put out reports corroborating on this information, which states that Nintendo is planning to put out “most of Super Mario’s 35-year back catalogue this year, remastered for Nintendo Switch”.

Further down the line, other Mario titles are making the jump into the current generation as well, including Paper Mario and a deluxe version of Super Mario 3D World.
