Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin is the rumored game from Team Ninja and Square Enix
Following the insider leak that preceded the Square Enix Presents Summer Showcase for E3, Team Ninja and Square Enix finally unveils their re-imagined Final Fantasy Souls-like that seemed to set expectations of a Nioh x Final Fantasy crossover. Personally, I’m getting more of Devil May Cry vibes and not in a good, stylish way.
Entitled Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin, it re-imagines the original Final Fantasy story set in the universe of Final Fantasy I. You follow a trio of adventurers searching for Chaos and in the game trailer, they come across Garland, an iconic character that represented the evil god that is Chaos. While I expected a hero much closer to the Hero of Light, the trio presented really felt closer to Dante, V, and Nero, along with the gameplay.
Then again, it is much to early to expect anything, but the good news is that a demo available for the PS5 allowing (the demo out now is not working properly at the moment) us a closer look at this re-imagined Final Fantasy story.
Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin is coming 2022 for the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, and the PC.
