Previously announced at the Annapurna Interactive Showcase last year for an “Early 2022” window, Stray finally gets its release date of July 19, 2022.

The cat game of your dreams receives another gameplay trailer as Players will take the role of a stray cat who must untangle an ancient mystery to escape a long-forgotten cybercity amidst the detailed neon-lit alleys and the murky environments of its seedy underbelly. Along the way, the cat befriends a small flying drone, known only as B12. With the help of this newfound companion, the duo must find a way out.

As an incentive to get into the higher tiers of the all-new Playstation Plus, the game will be available for download at no extra cost as a day one release for the Extra and Deluxe/Premium tiers. It’s definitely something to check out if you’ve been looking forward to this game.

Stray launches for the PS4, PS5, and PC on July 19, 2022.
