TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge Adds Splinter As A Playable Character, Officially Coming To PlayStation
For the longest time, TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge was slated for a console release but outside of the Switch (and PC), there’s been no confirmation of the other platforms. PlayStation and Xbox releases were assumed, but we finally get our first confirmation as the game has now been officially announced for a PlayStation release.
Announced on the PlayStation Blog, we’ll get to see the turtles rocking it out with April O’Neil and Master Splinter, the latest playable character announced by Tribute Games.
Marketing manager of Tribute Games Eric Lafontain shares his excitement about the addition of Splinter to the game, saying “In our youth, we all imagined Splinter was a capable combatant. However, as much on television in the original animated series as in the early licensed video games, rarely did we see the master show off his skills – and this scarcity quite likely charged Splinter’s mysticism. Tribute Games and Dotemu are thrilled to offer the possibility to take the Turtles’ sensei from a more passive character to a fully-fledged playable fighter!”
