Uniqlo has announced that the highly-anticipated Final Fantasy 35th Anniversary Collab will be launching on April 29, 2022 in Japan. A local Philippine release has not yet been announced.

The 16-shirt collection was mistakenly leaked by the Vietnam brand site last week but is now official and will surely delight fans of the long-running franchise from Square Enix as they add another piece to their collections.

The company has also released new images of the designs, which you can see below for a better look at which ones you’ll want to get when the full collection is released. Each shirt will retail for 1500 Yen (around PHP700) and will come in a full-size run from XS – 4XL.

Additionally, a special complete box version limited to 5,000 pieces worldwide will be sold for 24,900 Yen (around PHP12,000), with the boxes containing all 16 designs along with Final Fantasy playing cards in gold and black variants. Full details can be seen on the Uniqlo Japan website.

There’s no news yet on whether the special box will be available locally or whether the collection will release on April 29 as well, but we’re fairly optimistic that the collection will hit local stores in due time. In the meantime, keep checking Uniqlo Philippines for an official announcement.
