The title says it all as the once rumored RE3 remake may have actually leaked days before its supposed announcement at the Game Awards. Gamstat, which tracks everything added to the PlayStation store, has some interesting additions, which seems to be covers for the long awaited remake and basically putting rumors to rest.

While these have yet to be confirmed by Capcom themselves, the hype train for the remake is full speed ever since the success the RE2 remake has received. It’s not hard to believe that this fan favorite is far off since the RE2 remake already holds possibly the updated engine and assets that can be reused to bring this installment to life.
