Ubisoft has 5 AAA titles lined up for the upcoming Fiscal Year
If there’s anything constant in this world, it’s change and Ubisoft releasing quality AAA titles at breakneck speed. During their third quarter sales report, Ubisoft announced that they are planning to put out 5 (!!!) AAA titles this incoming fiscal year, which runs from April 1, 2020 until March 31, 2021.
We already know the lineup of games based on previous announcements and for this year, we can expect 3 titles for sure, namely Watch Dogs: Legion, Gods & Monsters, as well as Rainbow Six: Quarantine.
Watch Dogs: Legion is an intriguing prospect, allowing you to take control of anyone in the game. Check out the trailer below to see how that mechanics works out.
In a Tweet coming from trusted industry veteran Jason Schrier, he had this to say about the other titles from Ubisoft.
Anyone holding out hope for Splinter Cell is, once again, going to be disappointed. Sorry! (It’s AC and Far Cry.) https://t.co/7hKDV3y5QS

Fans of the long dormant Splinter Cell series will be thoroughly disappointed once more as it’s been revealed that the remaining 2 titles will be coming from their biggest franchises to date, Assassin’s Creed and Far Cry.
There has been no official news on both of these titles as of today, and if previous leaks turn out to be true, we can expect the next Assassin’s Creed game to take on a setting revolving around Vikings. Also, given that it’s been a couple of years since the fantastic Assassin’s Creed Odyssey was released, the reveal for the next game in the series is par for the course.
While 5 AAA titles in a year is quite the prospect, nothing is quite certain until Ubisoft themselves come out with the official announcement, but if this is any indication of what to expect, then 2020 is definitely shaping up to be another great year for gaming.
