Crysis Remastered announced, headed to consoles and even the Nintendo Switch
Surely the first thing on your mind is… “Can the Switch run Crysis?” Also, did you know that the game was named that way because it made a lot of PC’s cry due to the insane requirements?
Ok, so that last part may have been a stretch but we’ll find out if the Switch can really run it soon enough as Crytek have officially announced that Crysis Remastered will be coming to the PlayStation 4, XBox One, PC, and even the Nintendo Switch.
What was a leak discovered by twitter User Lashman turned out to be indeed true, as he stumbled upon the website that included a few details about the release.
Crysis Remastered will offer a host of visual improvements and will be co-developed with Saber Interactive, the same magicians who brought The Witcher 3 to the Switch. No release window has been given yet as of this time.
Crysis first released back in 2007 from developers Crytek and immediately became the topic of conversation across the industry, eventually becoming a long time benchmark for PC’s due to its demanding graphical requirements. Crysis has thus spawned 2 more games, with the latest being Crysis 3 back in 2013.
