Badass female Superhero in Captain Marvel? Check.

Animal Crossing and all around Nintendo fan? Check.

Being cast as Samus Aran from Metroid? Not yet, but Brie Larson wants a shot at that.

The latest episode of Animal Talking, the talk show produced inside Animal Crossing and hosted by Gary Whitta, welcomed Brie Larson as they talked about games and her Youtube channel, among other things. At one part of the episode, Brie was asked about playing as the legendary bounty hunter Samus Aran and said that she would love that.

“I would love that so much. So, I was Samus for Halloween two years ago… It was literally a $20 costume I bought off of Amazon, it was like nothing. I was so excited about it, and so I posted a picture of it on Instagram of me and the costume and it turned into this thing of people being like “woah!” She was always my character that I played in Super Smash Bros. and I just loved her. So that whole thing started and I’ve definitely not put a squash to that story and I definitely want to make that movie, I definitely want to participate in that. So, Nintendo, once again, I would love to do it!”

The photo she was referring to, was this one from a couple of years back, taken from her Instagram profile. I mean, she already looks the part, what more can you ask for?

She has expressed even from way back that she wants to make that movie…

And even BossLogic himself can definitely see it happening…

Obviously, no formal announcement has been made about the movie actually happening but if and when it does, Nintendo doesn’t need to look very far for their Samus. She’s already volunteering for the part!
