Mafia: Definitive Edition delayed to September 25, gameplay reveal scheduled for July 22

If you’ve been waiting for Mafia: Definitive Edition to drop next month, you’re going to have to wait a bit longer as 2K games and Hangar 13 have delayed the game to a new release date of September 25.

The official statement reads that “finalizing everything in time for that launch date has become increasingly challenging due to the ongoing global COVID-19 pandemic, and the last thing we want to do is compromise the quality of the experience.”, which you can view below:

Alongside this announcement was a gameplay reveal scheduled for July 22, as you can see in the trailer below:

The recent Mafia 2 and 3 remasters were plagued with technical issues and if this is the same case, then it’s good to see that 2K have listened to the fans and are approaching the release with utmost care.

Mafia: Definitive Edition will release for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia.
