Love Esquire by Yangyang Mobile brings a dating sim with turn-based RPG combat to the Switch

When your game has a line on the description to “git gud, get laid, and find man’s greatest pleasure”, you’re sure to get noticed by senpai and in Love Esquire, you can do just that.

Love Esquire launched on Steam back in 2019 and is a hybrid dating sim with turn-based combat that is akin to many popular anime being released featuring a familiar premise.

Developed by Yang Yang Mobile, the game tells the story of a fledgling squire making their way to a knight, who follows the whims of their quartermaster. Just as you would expect, you’ll get a choice of five damsels waiting to be wooed. You get to choose between different personality types, from a joyful merchant Vel or the prim and proper Kamala.

To add the cherry on top, Love Esquire is another game that showcases the local talent in the Philippines. This rounds up a recent slew of games by Pinoy developers – from the much-awaited Soup Pot to the recently released Garden Story, homegrown talent is up for display not just in the world of esports, but also in game-dev nonetheless.

Love Esquire is now available for the Nintendo Switch for $24.99 and the PC via Steam for $19.99.
