A New Witcher Game Is In The Works, Will Use Unreal Engine 5
CD Projekt Red has announced that the next installment in The Witcher series is in development, touted to be “a new saga” for the franchise.
This new installment will be developed in Unreal Engine 5 coming from REDengine, and will kick off a multi-year strategic partnership with Epic Games that will allow CDPR to collaborate with Epic Games’ devs to “help tailor the engine for open-world experiences.”
Details are scarce about this new game, with no timeline or release window yet, so we’ll have to wait for more updates from the developers to see what this will be about.
