Deep Silver and Dambuster Studios have announced that Dead Island 2 is coming to the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Stadia, and PC via the Epic Games Store on February 3, 2023.

A couple of trailers were shown during Gamescom Opening Night Live, signaling its return from development hell, 8 years after it was first announced.
