SEGA has announced that the Persona Series from Atlus has now sold over 22 million units worldwide (physical and digital).

As of March 5, 2024, 22.6 million copies have been sold, and in commemoration, a special trailer for P3 Reload has been released. The new trailer features “Changing Seasons -Reload-”, a specially remastered track composed by the ATLUS Sound Team’s Atsushi Kitajo! Ryoji Mochizuki (voiced by Akira Ishida).

The first title in the series Revelations: Persona, later named Shin Megami Tensei: Persona, was
released in 1996. It wasn’t until P5, which received critical acclaim globally, that ATLUS’s signature
brand of JRPGs was catapulted into the limelight.

P3 Reload, which launched on February 2, 2024, sold 1 million units worldwide in its first week.
