2K and Firaxis Games have announced that a first look at gameplay for Civilization VII is coming on August 20, 2024.

During Gamescom Opening Night Live, a gameplay trailer will be revealed for the first time, giving players a peek at what to expect in this latest installment in the long-running series. It will happen at 11:00 AM PT on the Gamescom Twitch Channel.

From August 21 to 25, attendees at Gamescom should be sure to stop by the Civilization VII booth located in Hall 6.

After Gamescom Opening Night Live, players interested in knowing more about the game can tune in to the Firaxis Twitch Channel for a deep dive showcase, featuring over 20 minutes of exclusive insights from the development team about this revolutionary new chapter in the franchise.

Additionally, the game will also be available at PAX West in Seattle on August 31, where Kinda Funny Games’ Greg Miller will host a developer panel and share new insights and behind-the-scenes anecdotes from the creation of the game.
