Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia has announced that Shadow Labyrinth is coming to PS5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam on July 17, 2025.

Shadow Labyrinth is a dark and action-packed reimagining of Pac-Man that takes players on an epic journey through a hostile planet that presents both new and familiar dangers, and where they must explore, hunt, and consume the dark creatures around them in their quest to become the planet’s apex predator.

The trailer highlights new gameplay features, including GAIA, a powerful robotic mech mode that inflicts massive damage and facilitates epic boss battles.

Players assume the role of Swordsman No. 8, guided by the yellow companion PUCK, as they go through the game’s multiple modes, such as the agile Swordsman No. 8 melee combat and Mini PUCK mode for exploring small areas.

The game combines fluid 2D platforming mechanics with modern design, offering a maze-filled world where players can uncover secrets and encounter diverse characters.
