Xbox Game Studios and Ninja Theory have announced that Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 will launch for the PS5 on August 12, 2025.

Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 Enhanced Features

This launch date will come with the Enhanced update, which will feature the following upgrades:

• Performance Mode – Experience Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II at a smooth 60 FPS with the new Performance Mode. PC players also get a new ‘Very High’ preset, and the game is now Steam Deck Verified for optimized play across all platforms.
• The Dark Rot Returns – The brutal permadeath mechanic from the original returns in an optional mode. If players fail too often, the Dark Rot ends your quest for good.
• Enhanced Photo Mode – Capture cinematic moments with updated tools and a new ‘Motion’ tab for video shots.
• Developer Commentary – Go behind the scenes with 4+ hours of in-depth dev commentary, featuring cast insights, storytelling decisions, and the creative process behind Senua’s journey.
