PlayStation ‘FlexStrike’ Wireless Fight Stick Revealed, Launches in 2026

Sony Interactive Entertainment has officially revealed its first internally designed arcade controller, the FlexStrike Wireless Fight Stick.

Initially teased as “Project Defiant” during the June 2025 State of Play, the arcade stick is designed for competitive fighting game players and will make its public debut at Evo 2025 in Las Vegas.

PlayStation FlexStrike Wireless Fight Stick Details

FlexStrike will be compatible with both the PS5 and PC, offering wired and wireless connectivity options. Its wireless connection will be handled via PlayStation Link, Sony’s proprietary ultra-low-latency technology, allowing two fight sticks to connect to a single adapter for local multiplayer sessions.

The controller features mechanical switch buttons, customizable restrictor gates (available in square, circle, and octagon shapes), and convenient built-in storage for accessories, including the included PS Link USB-C adapter.

It also comes with a sling carry case, non-slip ergonomic surfaces, and a custom digital stick.

The PlayStation FlexStrike is set to release in 2026.
