Persona 3 Reload Exclusive Developer Insights
To celebrate the upcoming release, SEGA shared commentary from Kazuhisa Wada, Yoshihiro Komori, and Azusa Shimada, key members behind Persona 3 Reload.

General Producer Wada expressed his enthusiasm for expanding the reach of the Persona series, urging newcomers to dive into Persona 3 Reload’s story.
We’re finally bringing Persona to Nintendo Switch 2!
Our entire team is thrilled that even more gamers will have a chance to enjoy Persona 3 Reload.
I’m sure there are plenty of people interested in the Persona games who just don’t know where to start from. If you’re one of them, I highly recommend giving Persona 3 Reload a shot!
The games have standalone stories, so you can start with any title! I guarantee each one will stay with you forever. I hope you’ll give the series a chance on Nintendo Switch 2.
Director Komori reflected on his journey with the franchise.
I’m Yoshihiro Komori, the director of Persona 3 Reload on Nintendo Switch 2.
I encourage everyone to give Persona 3 Reload on Nintendo Switch 2 a try, as it’s the perfect place to start if you’re new to the series.
My first experience working on Persona 3 was penning the lyrics of “Burn My Dread,” one of the game’s tracks, twenty years ago.
As adults, we get used to putting on different masks—our personas.
Over the past twenty years, I’ve done the same.
In Persona 3 Reload, you are compelled to confront your true self.
It is a story about overcoming lingering regret and crippling fear.
My hope is that this story offers comfort to those who are enduring hardship and gives them the
courage to overcome it.
Character Designer Shimada unveiled a new illustration for the Switch 2 version.
I’m excited to unveil a new illustration for the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Persona 3 Reload, along with an official art book, a year and a half after the game’s original release.
This art piece is unlike any of my previous work. I went for a sleeker, urban aesthetic and incorporated the same bright red used in Theurgy attacks. Doesn’t he looked primed for battle?
I had a blast listening to “It’s Going Down Now” and “Don’t” on repeat as I blended the blues and reds in the image.
A lot of detail went into the Protagonist’s jacket and Evoker, so be sure to check it out up close.
It would be wonderful if this art inspired more people to try Persona 3 Reload.
