Xbox has announced that the ROG Xbox Ally has gotten a fresh wave of improvements, headlined by the launch of Default Game Profiles (Preview).

Default Game Profiles Arrive

The new Default Game Profiles automatically balance frame rate (FPS) and power consumption across 40 supported titles, including Fortnite, Gears of War: Reloaded, and Hollow Knight: Silksong. This means smoother gameplay and longer battery life without the hassle of manual tweaking.

• In Hollow Knight: Silksong, the profile adds nearly one extra hour of battery life while maintaining 120 FPS.
• Profiles are hand-crafted per game and activate automatically when playing on battery.
• Players can toggle the feature via the Armoury Crate Command Center Game Bar widget.

Supported titles include Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 & 7, DOOM Eternal, Forza Horizon 5, Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Minecraft, and more.

Performance Improvements

Beyond Default Game Profiles, Xbox has introduced several quality-of-life updates:
