SEGA has announced that Tangle the Lemur and Whisper the Wolf, fan-favorite characters from the Sonic the Hedgehog IDW comic series, are now playable racers in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds.

The free update also adds two new jukebox tracks: Tangle & Whisper: Character Select and Tangle & Whisper: Result.

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Limited-Time Festival Event

To celebrate their arrival, SEGA is hosting the Tangle & Whisper Festival, a special collaboration event running from February 27, 8 AM to March 2, 7:59 AM (UTC+8).

Players can:

• Join one of three teams and compete in unique race challenges.
• Earn Festival Points to unlock exclusive items like decals, horns, and gadgets.
• Collect rewards that may return in future updates or alternative unlock methods.
