Hogwarts Legacy Breaks Twitch Record of Most Concurrent Viewers for a Single-player Game
Hogwarts Legacy has already broken the Twitch record for most concurrent viewers just a day after early access was made available, peaking at 1.3 million viewers for a single-player game.
The game is set to officially release on February 10, but players who pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition are given 72 hours of early access, allowing them to play and stream early, along with those who have been reviewing the game.
The record was previously held by Cyberpunk 2077, whose viewership topped at 1.1 million back in December 2020.
Fans have been waiting years for a game that would bring justice to the franchise, and the Twitch numbers topping 1.3 million viewers over just the first day of early access is proof of the excitement surrounding the game.
Our review of the game called it a magical experience, and whether you’re a newcomer or a long-time fan, Hogwarts Legacy is a game that truly delivers.
Hogwarts Legacy is launching on February 10, 2023, for the PS5, Xbox Series, and PC.
