DualSense battery capacity revealed, shows 50% more battery life compared to DualShock 4
Controller leaks are all the rage these days, just ask Microsoft. This time around, its Sony’s DualSense that is on the receiving end of the stick and as leaked by a Twitter user who supposedly works for an accessory manufacturer, the DualSense will be rocking a larger battery capacity compared to the DualShock 4.
Twitter user Galaxy666 has shared some new images of the DualSense, confirming a battery capacity of 1560mAh, a 50% increase over the DualShock 4 which sported 1000mAh. This corroborates a recent Reddit Rumor that the DualSense will last about 3-4 hours longer.
Apart from the battery life confirmation, Galaxy666 was asked about both the haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, replying positively that it feels “much more pleasant and comfortable” and that users won’t be disappointed.
Geoff Keighley also got to try out the DualSense early and also echoes the feedback, saying that while it may be heavier and heftier, it feels solidly built and the feel on the hand is good.
Sony has yet to make new PlayStation 5 related announcements after their hardware reveal so we’re hoping to learn more about the system and the accessories as we move closer to the launch date.
