Could Crash Bandicoot 4 be headed to the Nintendo Switch?

Crash Bandicoot is finally getting a new game as Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time is set to make a splash on October 2 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. While it could be argued that the Switch is a great place to experience the game, there has not been any indication of the latest title making its way to Nintendo’s portable until the Internet decided to do its work.

Twitter user SunwerPrower found a small hint of this possible port by checking out the script of the Crash Bandicoot 4 Website, indicating that there could be a Switch port somewhere down the line if the website code is accurate.

What was stopping Toys for Bob and Activision from announcing this in the first place, we’re not quite sure, but if anything, Nintendo Switch users would definitely love to see the game get ported over, just like it did with the recent N. Sane Trilogy and Crash Team Racing. Maybe saving it for a Nintendo direct?

As always, some salt is to be taken with this, but we’re hoping for the best and more platforms can only mean more Crash goodness for everyone!

Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time is currently scheduled to launch on October 2 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
