Mass Effect Legendary Edition Performance modes detailed
We’re a week away from one of the most anticipated titles of the month, and EA have put out the details of the Mass Effect Legendary Edition performance modes that fans will be enjoying on their consoles and PC.
According to a post on the official EA website, the best venues to play the game on will either be on the PC or on the next-gen consoles, which will offer the best performance (for obvious reasons). The base consoles will offer 60fps on the “favor framerate” mode, but the next-gen systems can do 60fps even at 4K resolution, with the Series X even bumping it to 120fps.

- PS4 Favor Quality – Up to 30fps @ 1080p
- PS4 Favor Framerate – Up to 60fps @ 1080p
- PS4 Pro Favor Quality – Up to 30fps @ 4K UHD
- PS4 Pro Favor Framerate – Up to 60fps @ 1440p
- PS5 Favor Quality – Up to 60fps @ 4k UHD
- PS5 Favor Framerate – Up to 60fps @ 1440p
Mass Effect Legendary Edition Performance Xbox
- Xbox One Favor Quality – Up to 30fps @ 1080p
- Xbox One Favor Framerate – Up to 60fps @ 1080p
- Xbox One X / Series S Favor Quality – Up to 30fps @ 4K UHD
- Xbox One X / Series S Favor Framerate – Up to 60fps @ 1440p
- Xbox Series X Favor Quality – Up to 60fps @ 4k UHD
- Xbox Series X Favor Framerate – Up to 120fps @ 1440p
The PC version can play up to 240fps and further tweak various graphic options depending on your hardware.
Mass Effect Legendary Edition is scheduled for a May 14 release on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC.
