2K games have unveiled the full roster of cover athletes for NBA 2K21 and with it, various details like pre-order and special edition specs.
For the current generation platforms, NBA 2K21 will be available on September 4, 2020 and will be available for pre-order from local retailers soon. Damian Lillard will take the spotlight for the standard edition while Kobe Bryant and his #8 jersey graces the cover for the special Mamba Forever edition.
The standard edition will set you back for PHP3,190 while the Mamba Forever edition will retail for PHP5,390.
NBA 2K21 will also be available for the next generation consoles, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, as a launch title this holiday. Zion Williamson will take flight on the standard version and Kobe Bryant, donning his #24 jersey, takes it home for the Mamba Forever edition.
The standard edition will cost PHP3,690 and the Mamba Forever Edition will go for PHP5,390. Notice that the next gen prices are around $10, or PHP500, higher. Could this be a sign of pricing for next gen titles?
NBA 2K21 will feature MyTEAM Cross-Progression and a Shared VC Wallet within the same console family (PS4 to PS5, Xbox One to Xbox Series X) and to sweeten the deal, purchasing the Mamba Forever Edition, whether for the current or next generation consoles, will provide you with a copy of the standard edition on the other generation at no additional cost.
2K Games will be releasing more announcements like a first look at gameplay as well as details on features for the game soon.
