From the developers of “The Messenger” comes a new Kicksterter project that old school RPG fans will surely want to get excited about.

Sabotage Studio has unveiled their next title called “Sea of Stars”, inspired heavily by RPG’s of the past like Chrono Trigger. Interestingly enough, the game takes place in the same universe as The Messenger and will actually be a prequel of sorts. Check out the trailer below:

As of this writing, the Sea of Stars Kickstarter page has already gathered $303,351, way above their $94,000 goal, with 15 more days to go before the campaign ends. As far as stretch goals are concerned, all have been hit so we can expect things like a new game +, alternate ending, in game cinematics, and others to be in the final product release.

Sea of Stars is currently set for a 2022 release but in the mean time, we can ogle at these beautiful screenshots while waiting.
