The next generation reveals are slowly trickling in. Xbox drew first blood with a whole lot of trailers and reveals during their Inside Xbox showcase. The graphics looked amazing and the next generation is truly at our fingertips.

One thing we all knew coming into the show was that the titles are surely going to show up for the Xbox Series X, since it was an Inside Xbox show, obviously. One thing most people don’t know is which of the games are Xbox exclusives and which of the games will go multiplatform, whether on the PS4 or PS5.

Here’s a rundown of the games revealed during the Inside Xbox Showcase and whether they are Xbox exclusive titles or not:

Bright Memory

Bright Memory is definitely coming to the Xbox Series X but no official PS5 confirmation has been made as of writing. While it is likely that this title will be announced for the PS5 sooner or later, we’re ruling it out until we get official word.

The most we can go with is an interview with Segment Next that says “FYQD Studio CEO Zeng Xiancheng confirmed plans to port Bright Memory over to next-generation consoles in the future.”, so we’re hoping this holds true.

Dirt 5

The PlayStation video above says it all, Dirt 5 will be coming to the PS4 and PS5 starting October 2020, making it fully multiplatform across console generations.

Scorn

PlayStation fans will be missing out on this on as it was confirmed on the Scorn Steam page that it will be exclusive to Xbox Series X and PC, with none of the current generation consoles getting it as well.

Chorus

If their official website is anything to go by, then Chorus will be releasing across all platforms and across generations, making it’s way to both the PS4 and the PS5.

Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2

The official trailer from Paradox Interactive as seen above clearly shows the PS4 and PS5 logos towards the end, confirming that this title will indeed be a cross generation multiplatform title.

Call of the Sea

Officially, this game is slated to come out on the Xbox One, Xbox Series X and the PC, with no word on a PS4 or PS5 release. It could be a timed exclusive, or it could be a console exclusive, so we’ll just have to wait for an official announcement for now.

The Ascent

Sorry, PlayStation fans, you can keep this out of your wish lists as The Ascent is an Xbox Series X exclusive, as evidenced by this Tweet from Xbox themselves.

The Medium

The developers Bloober Team have had a previous game come out as a timed exclusive in Blair Witch, so it may be safe to say the The Medium may be a timed exclusive as well. As for now, this title is only scheduled for the Xbox Series X and PC.

Scarlet Nexus

Bandai Namco have officially announced that Scarlet Nexus will be a cross generation multiplatform title, coming out for the PS4 and PS5 as well. Anime fans will want to look out for this one!

Second Extinction

There’s absolutely no mention as of the moment of this Turok meets Left 4 Dead shooter coming to the PS4 nor the PS5 so we won’t keep our hopes up for this. It is confirmed for the Xbox Series X, and PC as per their official website.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon

Yakuza: Like a Dragon will be an Xbox Series X launch title and will be releasing for the PC and Xbox One. A western release has been confirmed which includes the PlayStation 4 but no official word on a PlayStation 5 version yet. It’s very likely that a PS5 version is coming, so PlayStation fans need not worry too much.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

Ubisoft has confirmed that Valhalla is a cross generation multiplatform game and will be coming to the PS4 and PS5 as well, so Assassin Creed fans will not be at a lack of choice on where to play this highly anticipated installment to the long running franchise.
