Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 5 goes live, bringing new multiplayer maps and an all new Battle Pass
Season 5 for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is now live and with it, tons of new content highlighted by the biggest Warzone map additions ever seen, even more Multiplayer maps, new Operators, and an all new Battle Pass, which includes two free weapons and other unlockable goodies for everyone to enjoy.
Players will have more places to explore in Warzone, as the Stadium will finally open up its doors and along with it, the Train Station interior and a colossal, continuously moving freight train to claim as your mobile base of operations.
There will also be a new Ground War map, 2 new 6v6 maps, and a Gunfight map primed for frenetic combat. That’s a total of 4 new multiplayer maps that will surely satisfy your appetite for destruction.
Season 5 also brings with it an all new Battle Pass, which will provide 100 Tiers of new content, including up to 1,300 points that will allow you to purchase the Battle Pass for next season. Progressing through the Battle Pass will also net you an instant unlock for Lerch, the leader of the Shadow Company, as well as more Operator skins and blueprints, among other rewards.
Along with all the new content, events have transpired that led to the formation of a new group aligned in name only with the Allegiance faction, the Shadow Company, which makes an explosively memorable entrance into the world of Modern Warfare.
Players should start downloading the game, as the Season 5 update is massive, clocking in at a whopping 33.9GB for the PS4 and 49.8GB for the Xbox One.
