Gundam Evolution, an upcoming first-person team based shooter from Bandai Namco featuring iconic Gundam Mobile Suits, will be launching in 2022 for the PC. It’s going to be a 6v6 free to play game featuring some classic suits with unique abilities like the Barbatos and Sazabi, all in an Overwatch-style shooting frenzy that, to be honest, looks freaking insane.

Gundam Evolution is said to feature the unique Gundam “Boost” system and will have multiple play modes as well as maps for players to enjoy.

A limited closed beta test of 5,000 players for Gundam Evolution will begin in August and registration is ongoing starting today. Sadly, the closed beta test will be limited to Japan only (sign ups HERE), and we’re hoping a wider regional test will be made available in the future, since the game is planned for a launch in multiple regions. Maybe a console release too similar to Battle Operation 2?
