Sony reveals launch windows for multiple PlayStation 5 titles, Project Athia set for January 2022 and Pragmata for 2023
While Sony and the PlayStation 5 did not blow away social media in CES 2021 this year, a sizzle reel following a talk by Sony Interactive Entertainment President Jim Ryan revealed some release window dates at the end of the video. Blink and you’ll miss it.
See the “fine” print down below? That’s a lot of titles upcoming for the PlayStation 5 and a lot of release windows to go along with it.
With the obvious out of the way: Hitman 3 is due out January 20, Returnal will launch on March 19, and Ratchet and Clank along with Horizon Forbidden West are still out with an unspecified date for 2021. This is when things get interesting, with the Pragmata release date set for 2023. The Capcom site is still showing a 2022 release, but we’ll find out more later.
As for the other titles: Kena: Bridge of Spirits is out on March, Solar Ash will arrive on June, Little Devil Inside is slated for July, Stray and Ghostwire: Tokyo will be out on October. Finally, the much teased Square Enix’s Project Athia has a January 2022 release date as a 2 year exclusive.
