Ghost Recon Frontline is Ubisoft’s new first-person battle royale game
During the recently concluded 20th anniversary showcase of the franchise, Ubisoft has announced Ghost Recon Frontline, the latest entry in its long-running Tom Clancy line of games and a departure for the series that will now on take a free-to-play model and will be available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Amazon Luna, and PC.
Ghost Recon Frontline will feature its new flagship mode called “Expedition” and is a first-person PvP focused shooter in the Ghost Recon universe that places more than 100 players (in teams of 3) ala battle royale, with a twist. In the game, there is no last team standing mechanic but will instead feature dynamic objectives across the map that will have intel to collect. Get enough intel and head to the extraction point, where other teams may work to stop the leading team from leaving Drakemoor Island.
Players will be able to choose between customizable military contractors which will feature multiple classes and upgrade paths to suit their playstyle.
