Ubisoft has revealed that the highly anticipated Assassin’s Creed Shadows will offer a 30-40 hour main campaign.

Creative director Jonathan Dumont, who previously held the same role on Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, shared this news through an interview with Genki, confirming that fans can look forward to a substantial experience.

Dumont further explains that completionists could spend over 80 hours exploring everything Shadows offers, putting it on par with the expansive scope of Assassin’s Creed Origins.

Interestingly, Shadows might receive a New Game Plus mode post-release. Dumont indicated that Ubisoft is considering adding this feature and other modes based on player feedback.

Another item mentioned in the interview is that both the PS5 and Xbox Series X will be getting Performance (60fps) and Quality (30fps) modes.

The PS5 Pro version will be enhanced with both Performance and Quality at the same time, possibly offering the best way to play the game amongst the consoles.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows is launching on March 20, 2025 for PS5, Xbox Series, and PC.
