The Crysis account teased an incoming announcement coming soon, saying “The wait is almost over, and we promise it will be worth it! Please stand-by for further intel.” A PlayStation Access video may have pre-empted this announcement as it seems Crysis Remastered is scheduled to launch on August 21.

The video in question is a roundup of all the PlayStation releases this week and while it is not the official Sony PlayStation channel, PlayStation Access is probably the next best thing. Over at the 2:26 mark of the video, Crysis Remastered is mentioned as “Also out on Friday…” along with PGA Tour 2K21, which is August 21.

Crysis Remastered was initially delayed to further polish the game, citing that the dev team are listening to all the feedback and reactions from the leaked gameplay footage from before. If the video above is any proof, then it only means that Crytek may have done the work and is now ready for a release date.

Crysis Remastered will release for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
